He Intercultural Mediation Course: Romipen-Sansofe It will be held in person between October 6 and November 20, 2026.

Its general objective is to promote university extension training that fosters knowledge, recognition and appreciation of the Gypsy-Canarian culture and interculturality, in order to strengthen the empowerment of the Gypsy-Canarian people and improve the cultural skills of professionals and public agents, thus contributing to a fairer, more inclusive and stereotype-free coexistence in the archipelago.

This training is primarily aimed at the university community (students, teaching and research staff, and technical management staff), as well as the following profiles:

• Roma population residing in the Canary Islands: With special attention to young people and people interested in strengthening their cultural identity, leadership and community participation.
• Professionals, technicians and public agents: Especially those who work in key areas for inclusion:
  • Educational.
  • Social.
  • Sanitary.
  • Administrative.
• Civil society: Anyone interested in deepening their understanding of interculturality, social dialogue and harmonious coexistence in the archipelago.
