The fifth edition of Campus America is coming, from October 19 to 30, a space for evaluating and promoting the internationalization actions of the University of La Laguna with the American continent, this year with Chile as the guest country.

The Chilean Culture and Gastronomy Fair “Campus América” invites you to experience a unique day in the heart of San Cristóbal de La Laguna's historic center, in Plaza del Adelantado, where Chile opens its doors to the public through its flavors, music, and traditions. In collaboration with the cultural group of the Association of Chileans in the Canary Islands (ASCULCHICAN), this event offers an immersive experience that combines live musical performances, highlighting the emblematic Chilean Cueca—Chile's national dance since 1979 and a vibrant expression of identity and tradition—with children's workshops, tastings of Chilean wines and products, as well as a carefully curated exhibition and sale of gastronomy and crafts. We will also have a concert by the Chilean Folkloric Group «La Teruka.».

The Fair's program is rounded out with guided tours of the historic center of San Cristóbal de La Laguna, organized in collaboration with the Heritage Department of the La Laguna City Council, and guided tours of the cultural exhibitions at the Campus América in the Casa Anchieta, creating a comprehensive itinerary that connects heritage, art, and intercultural exchange. An open, festive, and participatory celebration that invites you to discover Chile and the Canary Islands with all your senses.
