The CajaCanarias-Cabildo Insular de Tenerife Chair of Economics and Mobility at the University of La Laguna is organizing a seminar entitled 'The roads of the future: innovative materials for a sustainable and resilient infrastructure' on July 9th at 12:00 pm in the Lecture Hall of the Faculty of Economics, Business and Tourism.
Road infrastructure plays a vital role in economic and social development, but it also presents a significant environmental challenge. This seminar will address the main lines of research focused on developing more sustainable, resilient roads adapted to current challenges through innovation in materials and technologies.
Through various examples and case studies, an overview will be provided of the latest trends in this field and the challenges facing road engineering in moving towards more efficient, durable and environmentally friendly infrastructure.
