The creation of new tourism products is booming in response to the signs of saturation in established destinations and traditional offerings. Tourism in areas with a rich diversity of heritage, such as volcanoes, has become fashionable, associated with the wealth of their natural and cultural geographical heritage. For this reason, the seminar focuses on two key aspects: firstly, showcasing the geodiversity of volcanoes, and secondly, presenting new geotourism products and experiences related to volcanic geoheritage. In this sense, the seminar will highlight the importance of the geographical heritage of volcanic areas as a resource for volcanotourism.
