The ITB 2026 Research Seminars program continues on Tuesday, July 7th at 13:00 with a seminar by Dr. Pablo Martín Vasallo, who will give a talk «A historical, artistic, philosophical and scientific journey through breast cancer».

Pablo Martín Vasallo is a professor of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University Institute of Biomedical Technologies of the University of La Laguna. He leads the "Developmental Biology" research group, where they study proteins involved in cellular ionic and osmotic maintenance (such as the sodium pump) and scaffolding proteins to analyze their role in various types of cancer and the side effects of their treatments.
