The ITB 2026 Research Seminar program continues on Tuesday, April 28th at 13:00 with a seminar by Dr. Patricia Díaz, who will give the talk "From nanoparticles to tissue scaffolds: advanced strategies for the treatment of age-related pathologies.".

Patricia Díaz Rodríguez is a researcher at the Materials Institute of the University of Santiago de Compostela (iMATUS) and a tenured professor in the Department of Pharmacology, Pharmacy, and Pharmaceutical Technology at the same university. Her scientific work focuses on the design of advanced drug delivery systems, including nano- and microparticles and tissue scaffolds for the treatment of age-related diseases. She has conducted research at leading international centers and is the author of numerous scientific publications and book chapters in the fields of controlled drug release and tissue engineering.
