The Social Innovation Lab at the University of La Laguna (LabINS ULL), in collaboration with DARC Week, presents a series of talks with design professionals, a space for meeting and dialogue to explore how different creative practices contribute to understanding and transforming social reality. Following the positive reception of the first talk held in 2015, this year we are expanding the program with three sessions dedicated to different areas of contemporary creation: social design, animation, and fanzines.

Through intimate conversations with guest professionals, we will reflect on the role of design and cultural production as tools for generating social impact, activating communities, and opening new ways of narrating and representing the world. Aimed especially at students of design, art, and communication—but open to all those curious and interested in creative practices with social impact—this series invites you to broaden your perspective on creative professions, discovering their potential beyond the commercial and aesthetic. If you are interested in learning about the real-world experiences of professionals who work from critical, collaborative, and committed approaches, this is for you.
