The Unamuno Campus of the University of Salamanca will host the 2nd International Congress on Homelessness from a Gender Perspective on June 18 and 19, entitled "Breaking the Cycle: Women Experiencing Homelessness and Processes of Change." The congress will be a hybrid event to facilitate the participation of professionals and academics from both Spain and abroad.

The program addresses, from a gender perspective, various dimensions of homelessness, including the analysis of trajectories of exclusion and risk factors, mental health and early intervention, aporophobia and other forms of victimization, as well as intervention strategies aimed at repairing and overcoming homelessness. It also includes applied workshops (such as the "trauma-informed care" approach) and spaces for the presentation of scientific papers and professional experiences.
