The course «"Geoheritage on the island of La Gomera"» It is part of the programming of the University Extension Courses “La Gomera Campus 2026”It will be held on October 16th.
The course consists of a field trip to Alajeró-Montaña del Calvario-Caserío de Quise-La Caldera-Cala Cantera in La Gomera. During the field trip, students will complete a practical exercise to identify and select geomorphosites and places of geotourism interest.
Aimed at university students linked to degrees in geography, tourism, environmental sciences, biology, etc.; public institutions and businesspeople who wish to expand their knowledge of the geoheritage phenomenon and the opportunities it offers in relation to geotourism in volcanic island territories.
