FEM-MET Conference. Feminist Methodologies and Epistemic Justice: Research, Education and Community Action

February 13 - 9:30 am - 6:30 pm

FEM-MET. Feminist Methodologies and Epistemic Justice is an academic conference organized by the Social Innovation Laboratory of the University of La Laguna (LabINS ULL), in collaboration with the departments of History and Philosophy of Science, Education and Language and of Didactics and Educational Research of the University of La Laguna.
The meeting offers a space for critical reflection on how we produce knowledge in the fields of research, education, and community action, from feminist and intersectional perspectives. Throughout the day, key issues will be addressed, such as power in research processes, reflexivity, epistemic justice, the use of data, and the co-production of knowledge with communities and third-sector organizations.
The program will feature presentations by professors from the ULL and the Università di Bologna, as well as a discussion with social organizations, aimed at collectively thinking about the ethical and political challenges of collaborative research.
