ZONE 3. MIXED THERMOSCLEROPHYLLOUS FOREST

Thermophilic forests are typically characterized by a dominant species, hence their names such as dragon grove, palm grove, juniper grove, wild olive grove, or seedbed. In this plot, which we have named "mixed thermophilic-sclerophilous forest," we have attempted to recreate a thermophilic forest without any single species dominating the others. It is important to remember that the various flowerbeds in this park are not ecological restorations but rather displays of plants in plots organized by vegetation zones.
