The 2026 Educational Innovation Conference, organized by the University of La Laguna, reaffirms the institution's commitment to promoting university teaching that is open to reflection, improvement, and transformation. This year, the conference aims to focus on a broader and deeper framework for innovation: one that promotes the redesign of learning contexts, the review of teaching practices, and the transformation of university environments from a pedagogical, critical, and collaborative perspective.

The conference is designed as a meeting place for university faculty involved in innovation processes, as well as for those working to improve teaching and institutional transformation. The aim is to continue strengthening a shared culture of educational innovation within the university, understood as an opportunity to rethink teaching, better address the diverse characteristics of students, and develop responses based on collective experience to current and future academic, social, and technological challenges.

The Educational Innovation Conference 2026 will be held on May 14 and 15 in the Auditorium of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Communication in the “La Pirámide” building.

We invite innovation teams to join the Conference to present results, share new educational innovation projects, and create spaces for exchange and joint reflection.
