The First Training Day for Student Representatives of the Faculty of Humanities of the University of La Laguna, called "Represent, Communicate and Transform", was born as an unprecedented initiative promoted by the student representation of the Student Delegation with the purpose of strengthening the participation, training and coordination among the representatives of the different degrees of the Faculty.

The proposal arises from the need to consolidate a common space where delegates, sub-delegates, assembly members, members of the university council, board members or any interested person can acquire basic knowledge about the functioning of the University of La Laguna, understand more clearly their functions and responsibilities, and develop practical tools related to communication, mediation and management.

Furthermore, the diversity of degree programs offered by the Faculty of Humanities (eight single degrees and four double degrees spread across three University Sections) makes it especially important to foster spaces for dialogue and collaboration among representatives from different academic fields. These conferences aim to be a first step towards consolidating a more active, coordinated, and stable participatory culture within the Faculty.
