Join the 5th Intercultural Hike for Inclusive Sport, a participatory walk organized by the Tenerife Immigration Observatory (OBITen), in collaboration with the Tenerife Island Council, the General Canary Foundation of the University of La Laguna, the University of La Laguna Sports Service, the Tenerife Island Mountaineering Federation, the Office of Environmental Participation and Volunteering, and the Númidas Association. During the walk, we will stop to collectively reflect on the diverse migratory history of San Cristóbal de La Laguna, sharing experiences and perspectives on coexistence on our island, as well as enjoying some shared snacks.

Date: October 6th at 3:00 PM

Exit: ULL Sports Service – Central Campus (opposite the La Laguna tram stop)

Arrival: Plaza del Adelantado (La Laguna)

The Intercultural Hike Route:
Starting from the ULL Sports Service, passing through the Canary Garden of the Central Campus, San Agustín Street, the Plaza de la Junta Suprema Canaria, the Hermitage of San Diego del Monte, Las Gavias, the Mesa Mota Viewpoint, Avenida de las Palmeras, Viana Street, to finish in the Plaza del Adelantado (La Laguna).

Effort level: Light, Approximate distance: 7 km (circular route).

Estimated duration: 3 hours (including interpretive stops and a shared snack).
Recommendations: Bring water, light food, and comfortable shoes.
